Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Effective: from the date of publication

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on the user's device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when the user accesses the Platform. They allow the Platform to recognize the user's device, store preferences and improve the browsing experience.

In addition to cookies, the Platform may use similar technologies, such as web storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), for equivalent purposes. References to "cookies" in this Policy also cover these technologies.

In the Ortu Agro mobile app (iOS and Android), equivalent local storage technologies are used, such as AsyncStorage, to keep the user's session authenticated and to store app preferences. The same rules of this Policy apply to these technologies in the context of the app.

2. Types of Cookies Used

The Platform uses the following categories of cookies:

2.2. When you reach the website through a campaign link (for example, an ad), we store the parameters of that link in the browser's session storage, which is erased when you close the tab. It is not a cookie, it is not from a third party and it is not used for targeted advertising: it serves only to record, together with your registration, which promotional effort brought in the account. More details in the Privacy Notice.

3. Essential Cookies

3.1. Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the Platform and cannot be disabled.

3.2. Without these cookies, basic features such as login, navigation between pages and access to secure areas of the Platform would not work properly.

3.3. The use of essential cookies does not require the user's prior consent, in accordance with the applicable guidelines.

4. Non-Essential Cookies

4.1. Preference cookies are considered non-essential.

4.2. The Company will request the user's consent before activating non-essential cookies, by means of a banner or cookie management mechanism displayed on first access to the Platform.

4.3. The user may change their cookie preferences at any time through the Platform settings or the cookie management panel.

4.4. Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent the use of the Platform, but may limit some personalization features.

5. Third-Party Cookies

5.1. The Platform may use cookies set by integrated third-party services, such as payment processors and infrastructure services.

5.2. The Company has no control over cookies set by third parties. The user may consult the privacy and cookie policies of the respective providers for more information.
